Hello y'all. It has been a long, busy and fun summer. We are sad to see it go but on the bright side, Gainesville is starting to cool down. I'm not going to lie, I probably won't miss the blistering heat. But enough of that. We're not here to talk about the weather.

Everything is quiet here in Bored in the USA land. I'm working on a few projects but nothing solid yet. Post Teens world has been somewhat busy though. We will be putting out a split, one sided, flexi with Mauser(one song each, limited to 500) for The Fest 11, through our good friends at Sound Study Recordings. They might be passing these things out during The Fest so I'm not too sure how long they'll last.

We have also been writing some new songs and hope to at least demo them if not record an LP before the end of the year. I will post more once we get it. In the mean time, we have some shows coming up around Florida with the likes of Grabass Charlestons(listen to track off their new album here),Big Eyes, Audacity(check out their new album, Mellow Cruisers. So Good!) and more. Come hang out if you can and support these people when they come through your town.

Full On Summer!

It's Summer again and hot as hell. Soak it in and work on your base tan! This time next week we will be in Texas with our pals, Mauser. We have a few shows to get us out there and then we spend the long weekend at Chaos in Tejas. The shows are posted below(with available details). If you're in any of those cities, come hang out.

Our new record "The Heat" comes out June 5th(hear a song below)! We will have 100 tour copies with us next week but if you won't be able make it to any of the shows you can pick it up from No Idea Records, or if you live in or around Gainesville, we are playing a record release show on June 5th with Ceremony at The Backyard.

If you'd still like one, they will have the remainder of the copies with them on tour. Keep an eye out for their debut 7" coming out very soon on Drugged Conscience Records.

While on the subject of Cassette Tapes, the Post Teens Cassette is also just about out as well. We will have about 20 on tour with us. After they are gone, they are gone for good. So hit us up if you'd like one.

As usual, it's been a long time since the last post. Since then, Post Teens have recorded 6 new songs for a 7" coming out sometime in the early summer on No Idea records, and set up an East Coast tour(April, 20th - May, 5th) and a week long trip out to Chaos in Tejas with Mauser(May28th - June, 5th). So, once again it has been a while and I have quite a bit to say.

First off. Thanks to Teenage Softies from Orlando, for doing a little weekend trip(tour) with Post Teens, September 9th - 11th. We all had a great time. It was a weekend full of a lot of drinking, front lawn wrestling matches, hungover swimming, sports bars, a set list fire that turned into an explosion and missing arm hair, long hungover drives and of course some great shows. We Hope to do it again in the future!

Second. The Post Teens 7" is Officially out and available through our good buds at Sound Study Recordings. If you don't have a record player and want the tracks, you can download it through them as well(just click that sound study link). It is also up for streaming at Punk News.


We would really like to thank both Sound Study and Punk News for their support.

Third. The Post Teens "Demo" tapes are just about out. I am out of them but you can still get one from No Idea, Sound Study or Robotic Empire. I was actually at No Idea Records today and noticed that they still had 6 copies of the "Bored 001" comp tape which I have been out of since December of last year, so if you would like one, hit them up.

Fourth and Last. Post Teens and Rose Cross are both playing the Fest on Saturday, October 29th. Rose Cross is playing at The Laboratory at 7:10pm and PT are playing(across the street) at 1982 at 8:00pm. Come hang out with us and if you haven't already, grab a tape from Rose Cross. And be sure to check out Averkiou(Jay from PT) and Worlds(Austin from PT), also playing Saturday night and Teenage Softies, on Sunday at Loosey's(Market Street).

Also: a minor change in the upcoming Post Teens 7". It is now going to be a 6 song 7" still slated to be released in October.
